Welcome to Seymour Primary School. 

We are extremely proud of our exciting, vibrant school which is part of a dynamic and diverse community and from the moment you step inside we want everyone to feel a sense of warmth and belonging as a valued member of the Seymour family.

We consistently achieve significantly above the National Average for DfE outcomes;

• 95.6% passed their Year 1 phonics screening June 2024 (National Average 80.9%)

• 81.2% achieved age related expectations for reading, writing and maths at the end of key stage 2 July 2024 (National Average 65.2%)

Our curriculum provides the children with the perfect climate for stimulating their curiosity to learn and find out more about each other, the Arts, STEM and Humanities subjects.

Our passionate and expert staff are dedicated to ensuring your child has the courage to set themselves goals and push beyond. Together, the Seymour team will ensure that your child will get an outstanding educational experience regardless of their starting points. 

The safe and caring culture in the school nurtures children developing compassion – a deep understanding and respect for each other which is evident from the acts of kindness seen everyday.
